Knock Knock Review/Giveaway

Knock Knock was founded in 2002 by Jen Bilik with the mission of creating witty, design-driven gift products and books, along with anything else that might strike the Knock Knock fancy. 

Our products aspire to bring humor, function, organization, and aesthetics to everyday life. We believe that people are intelligent enough to appreciate wit, wordplay, and conceptual thought. Whether we’re producing sticky notes or a volume of thoroughly researched nonfiction, we strive not to dumb down as we create. Our sensibility remains proudly distinct. 

The Knock Knock team, which now numbers twenty-five, operates out of a sunny loft in Venice, California, a fantasy locale if ever there were one. We’re a dynamic group who do everything from creating our products and books to overseeing the all-important logistical dynamics of manufacturing, sales, and distribution. 


  When it comes to gift shopping I love to find unique gifts. Ya, know there are some gifts that are just expected! Or sometimes you can tell a gift was bought because they giftee was stumped on what to get for the gifted. So I LOVE when I can find a present that is perfect for the person I am shopping for. Well recently I was introduced to Knock Knock and I am in LOVE!!!

 I started searching this webstore shortly before Christmas and was very excited to have the chance to receive some items for my family. I very quickly found the perfect item for not just one of my family members, but 3!

 My husband & I typically do not do Christmas presents for each other, we like to shower each other with little gifts throughout the year, so Christmas is just for our kids. :-) I did want to get him a cute little something though so I was thrilled to see that Knock Knock offers a Gifts for Lovers section. These gift items are so fun and like nothing I have ever seen before! I chose the Vouchers for Lovers for my husband and he really thought they were great! I didn't read through all of them before I gave them to him, so he got a good laugh when he did read them all and one of the vouchers it to be the designated driver for your companion...well neither of us drink, so we will have to change that one up a bit. For just 6.50 this is a great gift, especially with Valentines Day approaching.

 Knock Knock also has a great Gifts for Parents and Kids section. This is another great category, I love gifts that are made to give my kids and I something hands on to do. In such a tech filled world its so nice to find products that get your little ones to think! I chose the This or That Activity book for my oldest. This is a fun book that gets your kids thinking about things like "Breakfast or Dinner" and asks questions like "how do you like your eggs" or "if you were a utensil what kind would you be?" My almost 5 yr old thinks this is so fun, and its a lot of fun for me to hear his silly answers!

  I chose  one of their adorable Clump O Lumps for my middle child. Now first of all, I have to say that I do not like stuffed animals! I really almost cringe any time my kids get a stuffed animal as a gift, because they end up all over the bedroom floor, and well they all do the same thing...they just sit and collect dust. Well, Clump O Lumps are not your typical stuffed animal! Clump O Lumps can be unzippered and then attached to other characters to form fun little creatures! We were sent the Frog, and even on his own he is a lot of fun! His arms and legs are really long to hug your little one....or if you have boys like me they lend for fun pulling games ;-)

  I also made a choice for myself with the All Out of List. I typically do my big grocery shopping every other week, but in the meantime I am always running out of those day to day things , like maple syrup , salt, a spice, etc... that when it comes time to planning a menu and making my list I just forget about. I often write these items on a little chalkboard I have on my fridge, but when I saw this list I knew I had to have it! There is a magnet on the back so I hang it on my fridge, check off the items I need and grab it before I head out to the store!
