Chalk City Review/Giveaway

 My kids love to be outside, and they love sidewalk chalk! Even our 16 month old loves the stuff.... I have a personal love-hate relationship with it. I love to see how creative my kids are and it keeps them entertained for a long time...but I hate how it gets all over the clothes and then they drag it in the house.
  When I was asked to review Chalk City  I knew it was something that our kids, especially our 4 year old would love. So I anxiously awaited for it to arrive. ( I tell you...the downfall of being a blogging momma is your kids get SPOILED , lol. A package comes and immediately my 4 yr old says "is that for me??" , luckily he never gets too disappointed when its not. )

 

 Our  Chalk City Activity Kit arrived and my oldest was beyond thrilled! He had no idea what it was, but he saw all of that chalk and he was ready to go out and play. So even though it was a miserable 90 degrees when it arrived, I got it all out and we went outside to play.

 He was so excited to try out the Chalk City Road Maker that I could hardly get the camera ready in time to snap off some shots before he had the whole driveway covered! He thought this tool was so neat! He can easily make a path to ride his bike along, or make a fun obstacle course to play on, it literally took seconds! I love this for 2 reasons, 1) he doesn't get chalk all over himself  2) if he wants me to draw something for him, I can without having to bend over...which at about 30 weeks pregnant can be very hard to do.  He is really into me making him hopscotch boards with chalk and I can even do that with this if I just fold up one of the legs! Its perfect for chalk time play!

 Next he got out the stencils to make an obstacle course inside of his path he created. The 2 feet mean you have to jump with both feet! I love how his little feet turned out :) After he was done he had me do some on our sidewalk.

   We spent about 20 minutes making his little course and then a few minutes playing on it before the heat got to us. :-/  Unfortunately its been so hot lately we haven't had much outdoor time lately unless its in the pool....but he has played with this a couple more times, once he had to show his uncle what it was all about. I love toys that he is so happy with he has to share with others :) Chalk City is one of those toys and I know it will get much more use!
