Uncommon Good Review/Giveaway

I love finding unique websites/stores & UnCommon Goods is just that! Before I start my review there are a few items they wanted me to share with you. They have some awesome Wood gifts, you can take a look by clicking here I have to say I think my favorite are the Row Boat Salad Bowl and the Wood Tie. Another category in their shop is Japanese Gifts, which you can take a peek at by clicking here this includes things like framed Japanese Proverbs and Reusable paper bags. The last item they wanted me to tell you about are their Scotch Stones.  Please check out these links and their other impressive items!

I was able to choose items totaling $50 , I had such a hard time choosing what I wanted to review because so many of their products seemed great! I finally decided to go with the Double Dip Bowl, my oldest son loves pistachios, if I buy him a bag of them he acts like I just bought him a big bag of chocolate! But those things are messy! So I thought this bowl would be perfect for him & it is! We love it! I can just toss some of his pistachios in their and he can sit down to a movie and snack away without making a mess with those shells!

The next item I chose was the Extreme Stunt Wall Coaster. We received this and my oldest was so anxious to get playing with it, my hubby took an hour putting it up (he's a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things like this) and my son loved it!

However the next morning half of it had fallen down. :( At this point we decided to contact UnCommon Goods about a return. The reviews on their site for this product are great, and I think maybe if our son was older and could put the pieces together by himself we might of kept it...but it was just a lot of work to keep having to fix it. Uncommon Goods had us send the item back in and choose something else to review! I was very , very impressed with their customer service!!

So, I chose the Word Teasers for small fry's and the Whatchamadrawit game. The Word Teasers is a great conversation starter with our oldest at dinner time, or just something fun to grab during the day, My son loves it & I do too! It has become a really fun way for me to learn more about my son's developing personality and its a great way for him to learn about himself, and each card has a fun fact on the back that he really enjoys. The Whatchmadrawit game looks like a ton of fun, we honestly have not had a moment yet to sit down and play this....but its a 4 day weekend so I am hoping that we will get a chance really soon!

Uncommon Goods is a great place to go to find a unique fun gift or just to treat yourself. Best of all they have amazing customer service, which in today's world can be so hard to find! And they have been kind enough to offer one of you $50 to spend anyway you would like on their website. Just fill out the entry form below, and I will leave this open until Friday March 2nd. Good Luck!

  20. I would buy the Bad Dog tumblers, A Dog's Tale glasses, and the dog pillow (which would be over $50 but I would pay the extra money and just have to restrain myself with these choice, lol).

  21. I like the HULA GLASSES - SET OF 4 - COOL COLORS and the VIVA ICE PITCHER. The ice pitcher would be great since it keeps beverages cold without having the watery ice in them. My boyfriend likes things cold and gets soda fountain drinks without ice since "they are already cold in the machine." I think this would be perfect.
