Monkey Books (by Bloombooks) review/giveaway-CLOSED

 

      About a week ago we received two new books in the mail to review. The first is called "The Monkey and the Bee"    

 and the second is " The Monkey goes Bananas" 

 As you can probably tell by the titles & pictures above, these books are about a  monkey who finds himself in some crazy predicaments. 

  

The Monkey and the Bee” 

evolved over several weeks of 

brainstorming until one night we

thought of using only the words 

from the title as the text, 

while letting the character’s 

actions and expressions 

carry the story.

These sketches were done on

a notepad later that night.

  When we first opened the book, my hubby and I giggled because it is a VERY Easy read. The only words in the book are the title of the book. However, we LOVE these books. They are such a fun read.  Like I said, we have  had them for about a week and we read them atleast once a day. Whenever we ask our oldest to go get a book he will say "I am going to get my FAVORITE book!!" and he will bring us one of the Monkey books.

   The animation in these books are wonderful , and they definitely help in making a great story line!  Because they are such an easy read, these make for great books for my oldest to sit down with on his own. His expressions when reading these are so funny! He just gets so excited! I love it!!
