Journal 10+ Review/Giveaway

I have always loved to write, I was one who kept journals upon journals growing up. Some were full of short stories I wrote and others were full of my life. As I get older I continue to love to write...which in part would be why I blog ;-) I also really want to remember these days and pass on some reminders to my kids of their childhood as they get older.

A couple weeks ago I was contacted by the company Journal 10.

In a perfect world your memories would record and organize themselves.

In the real world Journal 10+ helps you capture and treasure all the special moments of your life.

Just scribble down a few sentences each day and, before you know it, you have a decade of memories and observations at your fingertips! Each "daily page" of the Journal 10+ offers room to write about one day - March 6th, say - every time it comes around from 2010 to 2020 (start any time in 2010). What fun to compare what was happening in your life on any given day as the years go by. The subject matter is totally up to you...record what you do or how you feel, what you eat or what you read, financial data or medical notes, local weather or world events - be creative! This convenient personal volume also offers sections for long-range planning, monthly overviews, addresses and phone numbers, and special dates. Bound in a durable leatherette cover, this unique diary will quickly become a treasured possession.
Let Journal 10+ help preserve precious memories before it's too late. Why?Because Time Flies - record them now and build a memoir to treasure.

  • Takes just 5 minutes a day
  • No pressure to fill a blank page
  • Builds over time into a family memoir
  • As you make each entry you see what was happening on that day in previous years
  • Re-reading triggers memories of people, place and events otherwise forgotten
  • Captures personal and family development and milestones

I received our book about a week ago and I am already in love!!  Each page of the book is a different day of the year, but what makes it unlike any other journal is that each page is that date for 10 yrs! So page one is Jan 1 2012- 2022! So you simply just write some highlights from your day on each page. For example :
on Jan. 5th I wrote : when Micah was napping Aaron said "mommy, I like it when its just me and you" , Micah ate brussel sprouts for the first time, I love Thursdays (Isaac practices praise and worship for church and we all sing and dance together)",   then on Jan. 6th I wrote:" Micah had his 10 month checkup-22lbs and healthy".   So you can write as much or as little as you want. If you run out of room there are overflow pages in the back of the book.
I love the fact that each day you will be reminded of where life was on that date the previous year, because wow... a lot changes in a year! To think that by the time I fill up this book I will have a 14 yr old and an 11 yr old!! Crazy! That is just how quickly time flies, and I love that this journal is going to capture many of our lives wonderful memories! I only wish I would of known about this great book earlier, how fun would it be to have started this when I graduated high school , or when I got married. I honestly think this will be a product that I continue to invest in and I think it is a great gift to give to almost anyone. High School grads, newly married couples, new parents, etc....
You can purchase this great journal at http://stores.journal10.com/Categories.bok for 39.95 and one of you will win your own Journal 10+ just by filling out the entry form below. I will leave this open until Monday January 23rd. Good Luck!
